Silver Spiders

Silver Spiders is a laboratory workshop about art and gender, sustained by age, arises from my interest in archetypes, prototypes and stereotypes in the history of pictorial art. The workshop regards the coexistence and nature gathering eight women from different parts of the world that have excelled as performance artists and are beyond 60 years of age. They're mature, full and wise women whose experience may be shared in an adequate space for reflection and creation, we now meet in a crucial point, because as "goddess agenarians will have an artistic and conceptual imprint to other generations". We will ll have the opportunity to dialogue and create individually and collectively. Our final work will be shown Saturday 30 of July from 16 hours.
